Some of the children of Corrita greet me uppn the brigade`s arrival.

We arrived in the town and set up our Medwish Clinic inside the gates of a school.  We saw over 300 patients.  There were 3 Salvaldorian doctors and 2 dentists who participated in today's clinic.  As patients arrived, they received a number and then entered the school area when, there number was called.  There was a room set up for pediatric care, another room for ears, nose and throat,  a third room for dental care, and a final room for the pharmacy.  The high school  students from the U.S. had an arts and crafts area set up in the shade.  The children could make bracelets, draw, and do activities while they waited for their turn.  Also, a wellness clinic was set up by volunteers in El Salvador to weigh babies and provide vaccinations.

I set up outside the compound and gave a presentation on proper dental care for the children who were waiting to go inside the clinic.  I also passed out the dental coloring book I put together in Spanish, so the children could color while they waited.  The day ran very smoothly!
